Christmas Parade

Good job on the float for the Christmas parade, it looked awesome and thanks to the parents who helped also. There were several gifts turned in for the children's Christmas that will be held next month by the police department. I will let you know a date and will expect to see some players there to help!

Remember, those who either are playing basketball, or those of you who are idle right now, stay DISCIPLINED! Basketball players, represent us well and good luck on a successful season. Players who are idle, keep busy and enjoy the break, it will be a hectic schedule beginning in January. Keep your grades up, VERY IMPORTANT, and stay disciplined, I don't want to see any of you jeopardize your ability to play on this team because of a lack of discipline. I have very high hopes this season and you should too, lets represent the school, the team, your teammates, and yourself in a positive way. Get yourself into shape before January, and enjoy the holidays.

Christmas parade info.

To decorate and get your jackets (new players get jackets), meet Friday, at 2 pm, behind CCMS at the football field parking lot. Saturday, be at the middle school to board the float by 6 pm, line-up is at 6:15 pm.

Players, wear your heavy (black) jacket on the float. Wear warm clothes and extra tops, it is supposed to be pretty cool at night.

If you did not bring a toy to drop in the box at school, bring one Friday or Saturday night and get it to Coach Floied. Every player is asked to bring a toy, these toys go to the underprivileged Christmas that the Police Dept. hosts every year.

Thanks,
Coach Floied

Nov. 18th mandatory meeting

There will be a mandatory meeting for the players to have their uniform pants sized. The meeting is Wed., Nov. 18th at 5 pm in the CCMS cafeteria. If they are not present, then I will guess their size, and that may not be good for them......haha......Any question feel free to call myself or Tiffany.

Thanks,

Christmas Parade Information

The CCMS baseball team, along with the CCMS cheerleaders and girls' softball team will have a float in the Manchester Christmas parade again this year. The parade is sponsored by the Manchester Police Department to raise money and collect toys for their Toys for Tots program. Our goal is to be the parade entrant collecting the most toys for this wonderful cause. We will place collection boxes at CCMS in front of the gym doors for new, unwrapped toys.

The parade is Saturday, November 28 and line up is at 6:15pm. We will work on our float the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov. 27 at 2pm. We will be in the same location as last year--right in front of the football field. Rogers Group will again provide us with a truck and trailer to use.

We need you to bring anything you have that is red, white and blue--as in red, white or blue Christmas lights, flags, etc because the theme this year is A Red, White & Blue Christmas. Our float will be called All-American All-Stars.

CCMS baseball players are asked to wear their CCMS pullover and jacket, as well as a Santa hat for the parade. Also, each player should bring their own candy to throw out along the parade route. You may pick your child up after the parade behind CCMS.
