To all of the players who joined the police department Saturday morning, thank you for your help. This is a important thing for you young men to be involved with, and will make a difference in
somebody's life! It humbles me to see the little child who gets all excited over one toy, knowing that may be the only toy they get this year, and one of you student/athletes helped them. Or, to see the 70 year old woman come to tears when she sees several of you carry a big food basket and sacks of extras into her home, knowing she may not have any family to help her this Christmas. You guys are making a difference in
somebody's life, you did it Saturday, and there is no greater feeling than to know you helped make
somebody's day, or life, better than it was before you met them.
I appreciate all of the families it takes to run this baseball program. It is a grueling, tough schedule, and stressful fundraisers to make it happen. I hope that we (as coaches) not only help make you better athletes, but better young men in our community. I am proud to be associated with each and every one of you.
I want to wish all of our baseball family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I look
foward to seeing you on
Janurary 5
th when we start conditioning. Be safe!
